You are my babygirl!  The greatest gift that God could have given me!  He knew more than anything that we were meant for each other.  I loved watching you grow into the most beautiful daughter and mother in the world.  Our relationship continues to blossom every day, and it means everything to me.  To have a daughter like you is not only a blessing, but incredibly  amazing!  There isn't a single day that I don't cherish you!  I will always remember the day, when we had lunch and I said to you, "I am ready for our relationship to grow into a friendship" and you so perfectly replied "Finally"!.  That was the beginning of  the most special Mother/Daughter relationship, I could have ever asked for.  Our relationship is so fulfilling to me.  We laugh, we cry, but most of all, we love each other.  Every moment with you, I continue to cherish beyond any words. Every woman in this world should be lucky enough to have a Thelma & Louise or Lucy & Ethel type of relationship in their life.  I am so glad you are my Louise, my Ethel!  This quote from Thelma & Louise fits us perfectly;  "A friend will help you up, if someone knocks you down.  A best friend says; Stay Down, I got this"!  This is our friendship in a nutshell, our foundation, our love for each other!  We have been there for one another other, when we needed it the most.  Whenever I was feeling defeated and knocked down by life. My cousin, my best friend, my protector!  Even though I am older than you, you have always protected me.  You are the one that I turned to for strength since we were young.  We are connected souls, a relationship so deep, its hard to explain.  You know when I am happy and sad, even when I dont want to admit it myself.  You have always given me guidance and support that is real, and unprotected for my own good.  You have made me a better me.  I dont know what I would have done, to get this far in my crazy life without you.  We have shared the silliest of times together, you are probably the only one that knows how "dingy" I really am.  We've driven down dark highways, over speed bumps, and up steep streets together, and we survived it all because we had each other!  I could not imagine going through life, with anyone else!  I love you more, always!  Diana

I first met you when you were only 5 years old! I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was definitely excited and nervous to meet you to say the least. I had no idea at the time you would eventially become my son, my pride and joy, and one of the best gifts a dad could ever hope for. 

I always wanted to be a great dad, and having a son like you made it very easy. You're more than a son, you're my bestfriend, and an awesome dad in your own right. I look forward to seeing what God has in store for our family, and I can't think of a better person to call "my best man"!

We started out as High School buddies at Pittsburg High School hanging out as teenagers, playing soccer together, taking girls to our school dances, and cruising around in our younger days.  I remember one time I was heart broken, because of a break up with my girlfriend.  You were nice enough to get me nice and drunk, (you said) to take my mind off things, and even nicer to throw me over your shoulder and slam me into my bed at the end of the night! lol

As the years have went by, we have been blessed enough to coach our daughters soccer teams together, I became your youngest daughters god father, and we have spent the last 30 years as true & loyal friends. Everyone in life needs a best friend they can depend on and I am truly blessed to have you in my life. I truly love your family, and will always be here when you guys need me!

We started out as cousins by marriage, and over the years you became much more than a friend, and more like a brother. You were the first one to reach out your hand to make me feel welcomed into your family.

We have been there for eachother during some hard times and managed to only stay serious about 10% of the time. You and I spend most of our time joking and clowing about anything that comes to our demented yet refreshing imaginations! I vow to never hit you in the face with a snowball ever again! You taught me what it felt like to be tackled in the snow by a motivated mexican freight train.

My grandfather once told me that some of your bestfriends in life will come along later in time. He also told me to surround yourself with people who make you better, and I believe your one of the very few he was speaking of. 

We started off our friendship as rival soccer coaches. You became my soccer mentor and motivator on the field, and in life! Our mutual love for the 49ers in common has created so many memories together. We have watched championship games at Candlestick Park, and now enjoy in our misery together at Levis Stadium.

Thank you for being much more than a friend to me. A mentor in life, a person I can depend on, someone I would do anything for, that person I call "my brother"
